Globe Telecom Inc has the ticker symbol GTMEY and is a mid-cap member of the communication services sector as a telecom services company. This is my first report on Globe Telecom Inc for this Vista folio or any of my five previous portfolios.

Globe Telecom Inc is a telecommunications company that provides mobile, voice, and broadband services.

It operates through two segments: mobile and wireline communication services.

Mobile involves traditional mobile services and contributes to the majority of company revenue. Within the mobile division, the majority of subscribers are considered prepaid customers.

The other division, wireline communication services provide fixed-line voice services, corporate data, and Internet for its customers.

The company generates the vast majority of its revenue in the Philippines.

It has over 76.6 million mobile subscribers, both prepaid and postpaid, and approximately 3.8 million home broadband customers.

The company was incorporated in 1935 and is headquartered in Taguig, the Philippines.

Three key data points gauge dividend equities or funds like Globe Telecom Inc:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three basic keys best tell whether a company has made, is making, and will make money.

GTMEY Price

Globe Telecom Inc's price per share closed at $37.02 yesterday. One year ago its price was $46.57. Price per share has about 20.5% from the month after recovery from last year's Covid market slump.

Should Globe Telecom Inc stock trade in the range of $33.00 to $48.00 this year, its recent $37.02 price might rise by $3.98 to reach $41.00 by April 23 2022. My estimate is $0.83 lower than the YChart historic multiple valuations.

GTMEY Dividends

Globe Telecom Inc's most recent Q dividend paid March 26, was $0.5563 which equates to $2,23 annually yielding 6.01% at yesterday's $37.02 closing price. GTMEY paid variable Semi-Annual from October 2011 to April 2014, converting to variable Q dividends in September 2014 that's ten years of dividend history.
