The munKNEE Conservative "Cannabis" Stock Index consists of the 6 large cap tobacco and beer companies with major investments in the cannabis sector (see details below). The Index was flat this week (-0.2%) but remains up 2.1% so far in June and +2.7% YTD. Details are as follows: 

  1. British American Tobacco (BTI): UP 1.5% this week; UP 4.5% MTD
    • has a C$221M investment and product development partnership with Organigram Holdings (OGI) - DOWN 9.1% this week,
    • has a dividend yield of 8.2%
  2. Imperial Brands (IMBBY): UP 1.0% this week; UP 7.4% MTD
    • has a 19.9% stake in Auxly Cannabis Group (CBWTF),- Unchanged this week
    • has a dividend yield of 7.5%
  3. Anheuser-Busch (BUD): UP 0.6% this week; UP 7.0% MTD
    • has a $100 million joint venture with Tilray (TLRY) - DOWN 2.6% this week
    • has a dividend yield of 1.4%
    • BUD's U.S. division has launched an extensive new marketing campaign to counter the effects of the recent boycott of its Bud Light brand that has enabled Modelo Especial, one of Constellation's (STZ) beer brands, to surpass Bud Light to become the top-selling beer in the U.S.
  4. Altria Group (MO): DOWN 0.1% this week; DOWN 2.3% MTD 
    • has a 45% stake in Cronos Group (CRON) - UP 5.8% this week
    • has a dividend yield of 8.5% 
  5. Molson Coors (TAP): DOWN 0.6% this week; UP 7.0% MTD
    • has a 57.5%/42.5% joint venture, called TRUSS, with Hexo Corp. (HEXO) - DOWN 5.6% this week
      • has a dividend yield of 2.5%
  6. Constellation Brands (STZ): DOWN 0.6% this week; Down 0.2% MTD
    • has a 39% stake in Canopy Growth (CGC) - DOWN 17.5% this week
    • has a dividend yield of 1.5%

In summary, the munKNEE Conservative "Cannabis" Stocks Index was DOWN 0.2% this week but remains UP 2.1% MTD and 2.7% YTD. In addition, the stocks in the Index now have an average dividend yield of 3%.
