The 5 largest licensed producers (LPs), as tracked in our munKNEE Canadian Cannabis LPs Index, are ranked below, in descending order, as to their stock performances so far in June (MTD) and YTD:

  1.  OrganiGram (OGI): UP 16.2% MTD; DOWN 44.9% YTD
  2.  Aurora (ACB): UP 3.9% MTD; DOWN 40.4% YTD
  3. Cronos (CRON): DOWN 4.6% MTD; DOWN 33.7% YTD
  4. Tilray (TLRY): DOWN 4.8% MTD; DOWN 40.4% YTD
  5. Canopy Growth (CGC); DOWN 19.0% MTD; DOWN 70.0% YTD
    • On June 6th Canopy Growth was removed from Canada's S&P/TSX Composite Index

Summary

While the munKNEE Canadian Cannabis LPs Index is DOWN 4.7% MTD and is DOWN 46.3% YTD, the 7 constituents in the munKNEE American Cannabis MSOs Index are only DOWN 0.5% MTD and are now DOWN 19.3% YTD.

The Global X Cannabis ETF (POTX) consists of the above 5 highlighted Canadian stocks plus another 12 cannabis or cannabis-related (i.e. auxiliary) stocks. It is DOWN 3.8% MTD and is now DOWN 37.0% YTD, in comparison.
