E Cannabis Stock Sector Continues To Crater: Declined 10.2% On Wednesday

The cannabis stock sector declined a further 10.2% on Wednesday and has now dropped 61.1% in the past 2 months and 84.1% from its peak price a year ago. NO major (i.e. those trading below $1/share) pot stocks advanced in price on Wednesday while the 12 non-penny stocks listed below declined 9.5% or more.

The cannabis market consists of 319 publicly-traded companies of which the vast majority trade for less than $1/share (i.e. are penny stocks) and it is acknowledged that even small changes in such prices can have a very large effect on the percentage change. Because of the aforementioned, this post only highlights those stocks that are currently trading above $1/share.

Below are the 12 pot stocks trading above $1/share that increased in price by 9.5% or more and the performance of 10 of the remaining largest cap stocks, in descending order:  (Source of data)
