But At What Cost?

I have January 17, 2025 $930 puts on Costco (COST) which are up 10.5%, but as you can plainly see from this pattern, I’m not in this position for a ten percent gain. I’m after a big win.
The hesitation I’ve had historically is that COST has a history of faking out the bears. The past two rounded tops did absolutely nothing. Hope springs eternal in the bearish breast, I suppose, because I’m still holding out hope this could make the plunge that the pattern deserves.
