Ambarella (AMBA) is set to release earnings after the market closes on Tuesday, June 6th. The Estimize community has a negative  outlook with an EPS consensus of $0.41 which is more bullish compared to the Street’s $0.36. Revenue is anticipated to come in at $64.13M as compared to $63.34M expected from the Street.

Ambarella first came onto the scene when it became the manufacturer of chips for the GoPro cameras. However, once the GoPro fad began to fade, Ambarella followed. Ambarella stood strong and as of recently they have shown they can move away from their dependence on GoPro. Ambarella has broken into the consumer drone market, working with the largest drone manufacturer DJI. However, troubled water could be approaching once again due to DJI’s latest drone “Spark” possibly incorporating competitor’s technology. Currently, AMBA sits at $59.04 with a 52-week high of $74.95.
