Apollo, Other PE Firms Express Interest In Arconic

Arconic (ARNC) has received takeover interest from private-equity firms, including Apollo Global Management (APO), Miriam Gottfried and Dana Cimilluca of Wall Street Journal report, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal for the aerospace parts maker could be worth over $10B, but no buyout agreement is imminent, the Journal adds.

Arconic shares closed Friday up 8c to $17.38. Its market capitalization is currently around $8.3B.
