On Thursday, July 31, 2025, American States Water Co. (AWR) increased its dividend by 8.27%, from 46.55 cents to 50.4 cents per share. The dividend is payable on Sept. 3 to shareholders of record on Aug. 15.
The company's forward yield is 2.70%, at $74.74 per share.

I own 250 American States Water shares at an average cost of $74.80 per share. The stock's contribution to my portfolio's projected annual dividend income will increase by $38.50 to $504. My yield on cost is now 2.70%.
Since I opened my position in February 2025, the stock has generated a total return of -1%, including $116.38 in dividend income.
