American MSO Stocks Index Up Considerably - Is The Bottom Finally In?

The American Cannabis MSOs Index, which consists of the 12 largest vertically integrated (i.e., seed-to-sale) companies by market capitalization, is UP 37% in the 7 weeks since the end of September, UP 12% so far this month (i.e., 3 weeks) and UP 2.6% in just the last week with only one (1) company showing any negativity. Has the MSO sector finally bottomed?

This article takes a detailed look at each constituent's price appreciation over the past 3 weeks, in descending order of performance, and since the end of September.

As mentioned in the opening paragraph, the munKNEE American Cannabis MSOs Index is:

  • UP 37.3% in the 7 weeks since the end of September,
  • UP 12.4% so far this month (i.e., 3 weeks) and
  • UP 2.6% in the last week

and that compares very favorably with the Canadian Cannabis LPs Index which was:

  • UP 27.3% in the 7 weeks since the end of September,
  • UP 9.4% so far this month (i.e., 3 weeks) and
  • DOWN 5.1% in the last week

Despite the improving stock performances related above, the financial metrics (current and growth) are dreadful for ALL the constituents other than Green Thumb and the details are presented in an article posted last week entitled A Comparison Of Major American MSO Cannabis Stocks' Q3 Metrics which is an absolute must read for anyone who is considering investing in any of the above stocks.
