AI PCs Shipments About To Double This Year

The AI PC market is about to explode more than doubling from 10% of shipments in 2023 to 22% in 2024. Indeed, according to the research firm, Canalys, the AI PCs sector is set to rise at a compound annual growth rate of 64% between now and 2027 making up 37% of all PCs shipped in 2025, 53% in 2026 and 60% in 2027.

What Are "AI PCs"?

“AI PCs” are AI-enabled personal computers outfitted with chips (neural processing units, or NPUs) capable of running large-language models and apps directly on the device, instead of the cloud.

What Is Their Unique Selling Proposition

AI PCs enable AI to be run locally on the computers themselves and to be used whenever and wherever – even without an internet connection.
