This video on MLPs is part of my ongoing subscriber request series where I cover stocks that subscribers asked for. In this video I am covering two related MLPs Brookfield Renewable Partners (BEP) and Brookfield Infrastructure Partners (BIP). Both companies have dramatically outperformed the S&P 500 on both a capital appreciation and total dividend distribution basis.

However, these are very complex investments that come with a K-1. Nevertheless, the focus on infrastructure and renewable energy appears to be very attractive areas for future investment. Due to the complex capital structures of both entities, as well as their continuous thirst for capital, I suggest that investors conduct their own research and due diligence. That said, the opportunities presented by both of these stocks appear to be worth the effort for those investors that are not afraid of the complexity.
