Is Stimulus Deal Close?

Today our household m account with Yahoo crashed after yahoo was bought by Verizon, a share I own. The problem was former VZ cellphones which we gave up upon returning from London early this year because our local vendor went out of business. We moved to T-mobile because it was nearby, and we have new cellphone numbers but the same landlines. Trying to log in was a nightmare because we were told we had to sign up for tech support for 12 months to get help by various Filipinos who dealt with our calls after hours on hold. With a 30-year long account, my husband, who has relatives from Bangkok to London, Devon to the Algarve, Paris to Germany, doesn't want to create a new account.

Given the way Google is being investigated now for its excessive internet power, I suspect that Verizon is headed in the same direction. I am selling down VZ.

Today the stock market again went bullish and so far it is doing so better than it did yesterday, still focused on a new round of stimulus. The deal is close according to Nancy Pelosi. Meanwhile, our president has developed a case of foot-in-mouth disease over Dr. Anthony Fauci, who he can no longer blame for his poll declines. He is turning US voters off without any help from the National Institute of Health chief whom he called an idiot.
