Another session of US day trading the indices, where patience was required, and one where setting levels for possible entries was key. It was no surprise to see the index futures move sideways ahead of the FOMC minutes due up later in the session, so patience was the watchword. It is also an excellent approach to hone volume price analysis skills in fast moving timeframes where candles build quickly. The lessons are the same, just the speed of build which differs, but the principles of volume price analysis can be applied to any market in any timeframe!
