Many taxpayers that pay a tax professional to prepare their annual tax return think that the higher the tax refund, the better the tax professional. This is untrue and often puts the taxpayer and the tax professional at odds.
The definition of a quality tax return is one that is prepared according to the tax code and follows all the rules. Sadly, many taxpayers are blinded by the idea of getting a large tax refund to pay bills, pay for home repairs, and sometimes save money.
