The Myanmar military’s move to take over the capital shook the ASEAN region, with Thai businesses, in particular, having high levels of investment in their neighboring country. Andrew Stotz, Founder and CEO of A Stotz Investment Research, joined us from Bangkok on Across the ASEAN to discuss how concerned Thai industries are with the developments across the border. He also touched on growing pressures on Thai banks, and also whether short-selling still has a role in markets given the Reddit retail frenzy that rocked markets last week.
