Asian markets traded mostly lower on Monday ahead of key economic data from China.

US stock market ended Friday's choppy session nearly flat ahead of the long weekend, while all three major indexes posted losses for the week.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 453 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 137 points lower.

Tech Mahindra, HUL, and Trent are among the top gainers today.

ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, and Infosys, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.

The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.3% lowe,r and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.7% lower.

Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the oil & gas and real estate sectors witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the power sector and services sector witnessed buying.

The rupee is trading at Rs 90 against the US dollar.
 

Reliance Industries Q3 Results

Reliance Industries Ltd delivered a resilient performance in the third quarter, with consolidated revenue increasing 10% year-on-year to Rs 2,940 bn.

EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 509.3 bn, up 6% year-on-year, supported by steady operating performance in Jio and the oil-to-chemicals business.

Net profit (before minority interest) rose 1.6% from last year to Rs 222.9 bn, while profit before tax increased 3.7% to Rs 296.9 bn.

The oil-to-chemicals business benefited from a sharp improvement in transportation fuel margins, which rose 62-106% compared to a year ago. This was partly offset by weaker chemical margins and higher freight costs for feedstock.

Overall, O2C EBITDA increased 15% year-on-year to Rs 165.1 bn, helped by higher volumes and the continued ramp-up of fuel retail operations.
 

CG Power Wins Largest-Ever US Data Center Order

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd announced that it has won its largest-ever order from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions LLC, USA, worth Rs 9 bn, marking its entry into the global data center market.

The deal is for the supply of power transformers for a major data center project in the US. These transformers will be specially designed to ensure high reliability, efficiency, and uptime required by hyperscale data centers.

CG Power will design, manufacture, and test the transformers in India, with deliveries planned over 12-20 months. The shipments will follow FAS Mumbai Port terms under Incoterms 2020.

According to the company, winning this order highlights its engineering expertise, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and disciplined execution under its CG EDGE model, which focuses on turning strategy into consistent results on scale.
 

RVNL Shares in Focus After Order Win

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) will be in focus on January 19 after securing a new order from Southeastern Railway worth Rs 0.88 bn.

The company won the contract to supply, install, and commission an IP-based video surveillance system in LHB coaches, including 4 cameras (version 3.1 or latest), rugged handheld terminals or tablets, and 8 TB external SSDs. The project is to be completed within 10 months.

Earlier this month, RVNL also received a letter of award from East Coast Railway worth Rs 2.01 bn to set up a wagon POH workshop with a capacity of 200 wagons at Kantabanji.
