Sensex Today Trades Higher; TCS & Infosys Top Gainers
Asian markets were cautious on Wednesday as a mixed US jobs report offered little clarity on the Federal Reserve's rate path, leaving investors waiting for stronger signals before making fresh moves.
US stocks finished mixed on Tuesday as investors assessed fresh labour market data and continued sector rotations, leading to another cautious session on Wall Street.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 171 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 50 points higher.
Eternal, SBI, and Axis Bank are among the top gainers today.
Trent, HDFC Bank, and Sun Pharma, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.1% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.1% lower.
Barring the IT sector, all other sectoral indices are trading positively today, with stocks in the realty and metal sectors witnessing buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 90.00 against the US dollar.
Sectoral indices were trading mixed, with stocks in the oil & gas sector and the IT sector witnessing buying. Meanwhile, stocks in the telecommunications sector and the health sector are witnessing selling pressure.
Ola Electric CEO Sells Shares
Ola Electric's Chief Executive Officer and founder, Bhavish Aggarwal, sold over 2.62 crore equity shares of the company through a bulk deal on Tuesday.
In an official statement, Ola Electric confirmed the transaction, clarifying that the sale was a one-time move undertaken to repay a promoter-level loan amounting to Rs 2.6 billion (bn).
The company further stated that the repayment will lead to the release of all previously pledged shares, which represented 3.93% of the equity.
Following the transaction, the promoter group's stake in Ola Electric will stand at approximately 34%.
The company reaffirmed its focus on competing globally and positioning itself as an electric mobility and clean energy company.
NCLT Approves Vedanta Demerger Plan
The Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved Vedanta's demerger plan.
Vedanta said the approval is an important step in its plan to restructure the group into focused, sector-specific companies. The company will now move ahead with the required steps to implement the demerger.
Earlier, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas had raised concerns about possible financial risks after the demerger and alleged inadequate disclosure related to hydrocarbon assets and liabilities. The ministry also sought clarity on loans taken against exploration assets.
The NCLT's approval clears the way for Vedanta to split its businesses into separate entities covering aluminium, oil and gas, power, and iron and steel.

Kaynes Semicon Announces Strategic Partnerships
Kaynes Semicon, a subsidiary of Kaynes Technology India, has partnered with Japan's AOI Electronics and Mitsui & Co. to support its upcoming semiconductor manufacturing in India.
The AOI partnership focuses on advanced packaging technologies for sectors like automotive, industrial, consumer electronics, and communications. Mitsui will help secure critical materials, such as leadframes, die-attach materials, and semiconductor-grade chemicals, ensuring a stable supply chain.
