Asian markets rose on Monday after positive US jobs data eased recession concerns and ahead of US-China trade talks.
US markets closed higher on Friday, after the May employment report showed stronger-than-expected job growth, beating Wall Street's forecast and boosting market sentiment.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 301 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 98 points higher.
Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, Infosys among the top gainers today.
Bharti Airtel, ICIC Bank, and Adani Ports, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.7% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.9% higher.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the media sector and the IT sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the realty sector and the oil & gas sector witnessed buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 85.7 against the US dollar.
GRESE Inks MoU with Sweden & Denmark
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) has signed an MoU with Sweden and Denmark to boost its marine engineering capabilities and explore new international markets.
GRSE partnered with Sweden Berg Propulsion to co-develop marine propulsion systems, supporting Indian government projects and boosting India's self-reliant defence goals.
Also, GRSE signed MoU with Denmark's Sunstone to collaborate on designing and building expedition cruise vessels, opening new opportunities in the global shipbuilding market.
GRSE signed a MoU with a German shipping company to build four new hybrid ships with advanced cybersecurity features, extension to the eight vessels already under construction. A firm contract is expected by 31 August 2025.
Additionally, GRSE has also partnered with Aries to explore offshore platform construction and signed another MoU with a global engine manufacturer to boost technical and diversify its business.
Its recent international partnership has boosted its share performance.
GHV Infra Lands Massive Project Order
GHV Infra Project has bagged a Rs 10.6 billion (bn) contract to build elevated road and bridge in Maharashtra under an EPC project.
The project involves building elevated roads and bridges, including over mangrove areas, to enhance connectivity and traffic management while considering environmental aspects.
This new contract will boost GHV Infra's order book and solidify its position in the infrastructure sector, showcasing its expertise in handling complex projects.
This contract is a significant milestone for GHV Infra, highlighting its growing presence in India's infrastructure sector, especially in complex projects requiring advanced engineering expertise.
Hindustan Copper Inks Supply Deal Pact
Hindustan Copper shares surged after signing an MoU with Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES) to boost its supply chain for critical minerals.
It has partnered with RITES to secure a stable supply chain for critical mineral and reliable delivery of essential metals and minerals.
The MoU aims to partner in auctions for copper and critical mineral blocks, jointly develop and operate mines and share risk in transportation and other areas.
The financial arrangements for each project will be decided on a case-to-case basis by both parties.
Hindustan Copper's net profit rose 50% to Rs 1.8 bn in Q4FY25 from Rs 1.2 bn in the same period last year. Revenue from operations increased 29% to Rs 7.3 bn.
Tata Electronics Boost India's Semiconductor Plans
Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) and Tata Electronics have partnered to boost India's self-reliance in electronics and semiconductor, signing an MoU to accelerate progress in these sectors.
The partnership aims to boost India's indigenous capabilities in electronics and semiconductors, focusing on areas like chip fabrication, assembly, and design. Both companies will share expertise to meet BEL's need for advanced technologies and improve manufacturing efficiency.
BEL, founded in 1954, is a major defence electronics manufacture that also serves civilian markets, with 29 business units founded on areas like network security and unmanned systems.
