Nifty Below 26,200; Sensex Today Trades Lower
Asian markets traded mostly higher on Tuesday, despite an overnight fall in Wall Street. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 0.33%, and the Topix index gained 0.44%. South Korea's Kospi rallied 1.14%, while Kosdaq eased 0.13%.
US stock market ended lower on Monday, weighed down by a jump in Treasury yields.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 117 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 27 points lower.
Maruti Suzuki, SBI and Asian Paints are among the top gainers today.
Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finserv, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index and the BSE Smallcap index are trading flat.
Sectoral Indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the banking sector and realty sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the IT sector and the oil & gas sector are witnessing a buying spree.
The rupee is trading at Rs 89.78 against the US dollar.
HUL Appoints Vandana Suri as Executive Director
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has appointed Vandana Suri to the HUL Management Committee as Executive Director, Home Care, effective 1 January. She will succeed Srinandan Sundaram, who is set to take over as CEO of Unilever International.
Suri currently serves as General Manager, Beauty and Wellbeing, for Unilever Indonesia. With over two decades of experience across PepsiCo, Tetra Pak, Nielsen, and HUL, she has built and led several major categories across India, South Asia, and Indonesia.
She previously headed HUL's premium laundry portfolio, where she delivered strong and consistent growth.

Hero MotoCorp's Sales Surge 31% in November
Hero MotoCorp delivered a strong performance in November, posting a 31% year-on-year jump in total sales to 6,04,490 units. This marks a sharp rise from the 4,59,805 units sold in the same month last year.
The company's domestic market remained the key growth driver, with sales climbing to 5,70,520 units, compared with 4,39,777 units in November 2023. Exports also recorded healthy momentum, rising to 33,970 units from 20,028 units a year earlier.
Hero MotoCorp shared these figures in its latest regulatory filing, highlighting a solid start to the peak festive and year-end demand season.
NMDC's Iron Ore Output Rises 11% in November
State-owned NMDC Ltd reported an 11% year-on-year rise in iron ore production for November, reaching 5.01 million tonnes (mt) compared with 4.51 mt a year earlier.
Monthly sales also saw an improvement of 4.3%, increasing to 4.17 mt from 4 mt in November 2024, according to provisional data filed with the exchanges.
The production uptick was supported by stronger output across both major mining regions. Chhattisgarh operations delivered 3.58 mt, up from 3.27 mt last year, while Karnataka mines produced 1.43 mt, compared with 1.24 mt in the previous year.
For the April-November period, cumulative production climbed to 31.48 mt, up from 26.06 mt in the same period last year.
Cumulative sales rose to 30.28 mt from 27.84 mt.
This operational growth follows NMDC's strong September-quarter results, where net profit jumped 41% year-on-year to Rs 16.8 bn, surpassing market estimates.
Bharat Dynamics Shares in Focus After Fresh Order Wins
Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) is likely to remain in focus on December 2 after the company secured additional defence orders worth Rs 24.6 bn from the Indian Army since 13 November 2025.
The major orders include Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAM) under emergency procurement.
According to the company, the ATGM order will be executed over 42 months, while the SAM order is scheduled for completion within 12 months.
This comes on the back of a Rs 20.9 bn contract signed in November with the Ministry of Defence for supplying Invar anti-tank missiles to the Indian Army.
Recently, BDL reported strong Q2 earnings, with net profit rising 76.18% year-on-year to Rs 2.1 bn. Total revenue also more than doubled to Rs 11.5 bn, underscoring continued momentum in its order book and execution.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles' Sales Jump in November
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported a strong performance in November, with sales rising 26% year-on-year to 59,199 units, compared to 47,117 units recorded in the same month last year.
In the domestic market, the company sold 57,436 units, marking a 22% increase from 47,063 units in November 2024.
Separately, Tata Motors' commercial vehicle division also delivered solid growth, reporting a 29% year-on-year rise in November sales to 35,539 units. Domestic dispatches for the commercial vehicle segment climbed 25% to 32,753 units.
Together, the numbers highlight steady demand across the company's passenger and commercial vehicle portfolios.
