Nifty Above 25,100; Kotak Mahindra, M&M Top Gainer

Asian markets traded higher on Tuesday on optimism that US-China trade talks were progressing well.

US stock market ended higher on Monday, with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq notching intraday record high closes.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 178 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 46 points higher.

M&M, Kotak Mahindra, and UltraTech Cement are among the top gainers today.

Titan Company, Asian Paints, and HDFC Bank, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.

The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.2% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.4% higher.

Barring the FMCG sector, all other sectoral indices are trading positively today, with stocks in the auto sector and power sector witnessing buying.

The rupee is trading at Rs 88.1 against the US dollar.
 

Wipro and CrowdStrike Boost Cyber Security

Wipro has expanded its partnership with CrowdStrike to launch an AI-powered managed security service called Wipro CyberShield MDR.

The new service combines AI, automation, and real-time threat intelligence with CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen SIEM platform to enhance threat detection and response. It is intended to solve the expanding issue of disconnected security tools which overflow companies with notifications but are unable to prevent cyberattacks.

Wipro's Senior Vice-President and Global Head of Cybersecurity and Risk Services, expects the new product to effectively manage threats and maintain seamless global operations.

He added that Wipro's CyberShield platform, powered by CrowdStrike's AI technology, will help businesses quickly contain threats and ensure smooth operations.

Also, platform's integrated approach enables automated workflows, prevents threats, and eliminates security gaps.
 

Transrail Bags Large Transmission Order

Transrail Lighting Ltd has secured a significant contract worth Rs 4.2 billion (bn) for a transmission line project, marking its entry into another African country.

Transrail Lighting's MD & CEO announced that the company's recent expansion into a new African country with a significant transmission line order, combined with other orders in international transmission and distribution and pole and lighting, has driven its FY26 inflows to exceed Rs 35 bn.

This represents a substantial 78% year-over-year growth in order intake.

A turnkey EPC business in Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Transrail Lighting Limited operates in a variety of sectors, including civil, railroads, and poles & lighting.

In addition to a highly regarded tower testing facility, Transrail has extensive manufacturing facilities in India for galvanised lattice towers, overhead conductors, and galvanised monopoles.

NCC Wins Major Reservoir Project Contract

NCC Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance from Bihar's Water Resources Department to construct the Barnar Reservoir Scheme in Jamui district, worth Rs 20.9 bn.

The construction of the reservoir, dam structures, irrigation channels, and other related works are covered by the contract, which is estimated to be worth Rs 20.9 bn.

The project will be carried out over a 30-month construction period and a 60-month defect liability period, as per the company.

This victory comes after the Hyderabad-based business has recently landed several important contracts. State government agencies and a private company awarded NCC new orders totalling Rs 16.9 bn for its building division in June.

At about the same time, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) awarded it a Rs 22.7 bn order for work on Metro Line 6, which included depot machinery, telecom, rolling stock and signalling systems.
 

Sanghvi Movers Wins Big Renewable Deal

Sangreen Future Renewables Private Limited, a material subsidiary of Sanghvi Movers Limited, by well-known Independent Power Producers (IPPs) have been given large work orders totalling Rs 2.9 bn.

The work orders include construction of wind turbine foundations, roads, and platforms, installation of wind turbines, and electrical line works.

The project is anticipated to be completed by Q1 of FY 2026-27, with a start date of Q2 of FY 2025-26.
