If I may engage in the exercise of patting myself on the back, my oft-repeated declaration that the gap on the $HSI was the target was prescient. I haven’t computed it, but this looks like 99.99% spot-on.

Oddly, at the same time, I think it’s a great time to be short FXI again. The Communist Dictatorship of China will eventually declare war on the United States, once it’s clear the economic M.A.D. policy isn’t working. For now, they’re going to keep faking it until they make it. The thing is – – they’re not going to make it.
