What Jerome Powell Won't Talk About Tomorrow (But Should)

Hopefully, you're enjoying another somewhat quiet day in the precious metals market. Because certainly after the chaos and volatility of the first half of the year, it feels nice to have a bit of a slower late summer afternoon.
The gold futures are currently down $6 to $3,382, and continuing to hover right around that $3,400 mark.
Silver is rallying again today, up 31 cents, and back above the $38 level.
CNBC was noting how investors are eagerly awaiting Jerome Powell's Jackson Hole speech tomorrow, and they wrote that ‘he could offer insights into the path of interest rates that could offer some reprieve about persistent inflation concerns.’
