The markets drifted around today, looking for another impulse from some direction to continue higher or to give back some of the enthusiasm for a pause and reversal in Federal Reserve interest rate policy.
Gold and silver moved higher, but backed off from their daily high.
Both are poised for breakouts.
VIX drifted a little higher.
Tomorrow is a minor monthly stock option expiration.
