We had some post option expiration shenanigans today, as well as positioning ahead of the FOMC meeting and decision this Wednesday.

There is a minor precious metals options expiration this week as well.

Stocks slumped and then rallied back to finish in the green.

Pretty much the same deal with gold and silver which finished close to unchanged.

There was some more pronounced downward pressure than rallying back in the miners.

VIX dropped.

The Dollar declined a bit.
