It took a couple of days, but precious metals finally seem to be succumbing to logical resistance levels.

Now, since I have your attention, I have one or two things to say about SlopeTalk.

Late last year, I found a bright young man to help me with development. I cranked development on Slope down to almost nothing, because it didn’t seem to make any difference to anyone (and, frankly, considering the bitching that some people do at the sight of a new product, I can kind of understand my reasoning to be passive and just let the site not change; I mean, hell, I think StockCharts hasn’t done anything meaningful in over a decade, and they seem to be just fine).

But I like creating new things, so I decided to crack up the purse and start things up again. My first substantive effort has been SlopeTalk, and frankly, I’m ready to drop on my knees and thank God for introducing me to this young chap who’s doing the development, because he is fuckin’ awesome. And I’ve been doing this for a long time, so I know what I’m talking about.

Thus, I am very grateful to those of you who are getting in there, finding bugs, offering suggestions, and helping each other out. I say, once again, it is 100% optional to use SlopeTalk at all. (Incredibly, one particular person won’t stop griping about it, in spite of this fact). Almost everyone else has been terrific, and it’s heartening to see the community, as a whole, express its positive attitude.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: you may not believe me now, but when this thing is done, you’re going to wonder why I didn’t do this years ago.
