Horizontal Rig count hit 693 week of Dec 13, 2019, and has since turned higher. Horizontal Rigs now comprise 90.3% of the total with Oil Rigs at 85.8% of the total.

Even with the recent fall in WTI and the overall Rig Count decline from Jan 2019 of ~25%, Oil&Gas employment has continued higher with higher crude and nat gas production driving the E&P Activity Index to a record high.
