Are you getting tired of the gold price setting new record highs yet?

I'm guessing not, and today the futures crossed the $2,800 level for the first time in history.

It's also happening ahead of the expiration of the debt ceiling agreement. Which is now only 2 months away, and on track to take place in what's likely to be a contested election.
