Average Gasoline Prices For Week Ending May 2019 Up 2 Cents From A Year Ago

Average gasoline prices rose 1.1 cents this past week following the previous week's 4.6 cent rise.

The average gasoline price (all grades, all formulations) in the USA was $2.98 per gallon. From the same week one year ago, gas prices are up 2 cents. At the end of the article is a Gas Buddy graphic with access to local gasoline prices anywhere in the country.

The graph represents the weighted average of gasoline based on sampling of approximately 900 retail outlets, 8:00 AM Monday. All Formulations includes both conventional gasoline and reformulated gasoline.
