3 Ways To ‘Trade The Turn’ On Thursday

(Video length 00:48:13)

Tomorrow could be the best trading day of the week!

Why? Because we have range-bound markets and BIG inflation news on the schedule. The perfect recipe for big moves and opportunities…

With all the ranges we’re seeing on these charts tonight, I’ll be looking for ways to “trade the turn” off the edges tomorrow morning…

And let’s not forget – with inflation news on the schedule, I’ll be looking for opportunities to trade breakouts as well.  Don’t miss these trades tomorrow…

E-Mini S&P (ES):

E-Mini Keys to Success:

  • Bears continue to hold control of momentum and will be looking to complete the pendulum-swing going lower tomorrow morning
  • Bears will look to sell above the range with failures and below the range with breakouts.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • Sell the nested buyer failure above the range
  • Sell the 2-Try breakout below the range
  • Sell the crown reversal off 4230 highs
  • Buy the 2-Try breakout going higher

E-Mini Nasdaq (NQ):

Nasdaq Keys to Success:

  • Sellers continue to control momentum as price rotates back and forth inside this weekly range.
  • Sellers will be looking to short the pops above the range and sell breakouts going lower.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • Sell the nested failure above range highs
  • Sell the 2-Try breakout going below the range
  • Sell the 13760 highs with a crown reversal
  • Buy the 123-Reversal on the way back to the highs.

Gold Futures (GC):

Gold Keys to Success:

  • Gold is rotation between two ranges this week which tells us to focus on “fading” the edges, ie, selling high, buying low, and trading the rotation between the two.
  • Sellers will be looking to short the highs on exhaustion and look for entries on the way back to the lows where we assume buyers will try the same off the low.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • Sell the nested failure off the highs
  • Sell the 123-Reversal off the highs
  • Buy the 123-breakout to new highs
  • Buy the low of the range (if we go sideways)
