The price of a barrel of oil is far too low right now for oil producing nations to pay for it’s removal from the ground. The verdict? Loss of jobs in the oil industry. China has sold US bonds on the market to shore up its’ economy. That can only last until about the end of the year. We have witnessed the stock markets around the globe in a free fall and one has to wonder if it is going to settle down anytime soon? In 1929 the US stock market crashed while all around the globe nations economies were crumbling. In those days there was nothing left to do but slowly slug it out while the economic situation slowly recovered. Today such a collapse would bring absolute panic and terror because people don’t live on farms anymore; we get our food from stores which get their shelves filled by delivery trucks, which fill up on fuel,,,, all of which would come to an abrupt halt if the currency being used became valueless! A slowly recovering economy would mean that hundreds of millions of people would be at risk of starvation in a few weeks time. Are we about to witness another collapse in our time? That’s the question! I believe that if such a world wide collapse occurred that we would see the nations of the world welcome a joint currency, along with a government that would over see many other things that local governments do today. In short a one world government would be born. The Bible tells us of such a one world government being born during a time where we see wars and rumors of wars, These problems with ISIS, Syria, the UN, the Ukraine, the nuclear agreement with Iran, and all of the other places that sit on a knifes edge are all part of the signs and troubles that many Christians refer to as the “end times”.
